Start Board/blotter, Momentum

Before I lay my pen down on a piece--or when starting a new pen--I test its flow, much like a doctor on a TV show flicking a needle before plugging it deep into a rolling, wormy vein or random part of thigh. This board is a start board that I started to develop as its own piece. If you're wondering why I'm offering this, some fine folks really enjoy the "process pieces." It is, behind the scenes, if you will. 6” x 6” oil pens on bright white gesso hardboard.
