Sadness Hardship Tree, 5x7"

There's more than one way to translate Achewood into kanji, but here's what they gvae me: ai-ku-boku, with the kanji letters translating as “sadness-hardship-tree.” I like that plenty. This started as the lettering study for the large still life I released at the same time as this piece. 5x7", pencils and pen on thick cream card stock.
